My name is Ioan Nemes

I was born in 1984.

I went to art  high school in 1999 and i graduated in 2003.

In my early years of painting i did mostly landscapes and i was inspired by Romanticism, Impressionism and Post-Impressionism movements.

After i graduated the art university from Cluj-Napoca city, in 2009,  i did 2 years Master on painting  (2009-2011), where i began experimenting with abstract compositions in acrylics. I was preoccupied also by mixt compositions with abstract and figurative elements.

In the period 2009-2012, I worked three years in school education as a teacher of art education.

I paint both abstract and figurative, and  have many artworks in acrylic and oil. After completing specialized studies in painting (10 years in total), besides the artistic movements that I mentioned above, I was also inspired a little by realism, regarding  figurative painting, And on abstract painting, abstract expressionism.  Although there are influences on the evolution of my artistic style, and I like to experiment different techniques and styles, I also like to discover new methods and techniques of artistic approach, to be spontaneous and to offer an original interpretation.

In figurative painting, I’m interested in different topics and subjects from landscape, seascape, urban landscape, still life, floral compositions, portraits and compositions with characters, thus creating some historical paintings. Currently in figurative painting I focus more on landscape and floral compositions.

With the passage of time, i have experienced different styles and approach, to making the transition from figurative to abstract during the two-year Master.

In my abstract painting, one can see various forms created spontaneously:  the faces of people, floral structures, crystalline structures, micro and macro cosmic structures. I also like to combine abstract compositions with figurative elements thus creating compositions that are figurative and abstract. In such paintings, can be seen how the world emerges from the representation of figurative to abstract or vice versa, the two worlds merging and revealing the creative power of art. A world made possible with the help of conscious – suconstient and spontaneity, creativity and imagination. My works have a great aesthetic value and originality, the style and representation. My main source of inspiration is my own creativity and imagination. And this is seen best in my works of art that are abstract or semi-abstract compositions, where artistic freedom is greater due to detachment of figurative representation and can provide vast opportunities for processing and interpretation of the subject. I am interested in various topics including the philosophical and  cosmic:  birth and evolution of the universe, micro and macro cosmos, time, life and evolution.Painting allows me to create. Art can have a therapeutic  effect and may inspire  the artist contentment, satisfaction, harmony and visual pleasure and beyond. Art has an aesthetic value and can be therapeutic,  also for the viewer of art that visualizes and analyzes the painting through his own interpretation, which can transmit different states of relaxation, pleasure and optimism. My paintings are made with passion and professionalism, also having originality, spontaneity and a great aesthetic value. They are rich in diversity, from composition to color, contrast, rhythm and technique, expressing a universe in motion. Besides painting i am interested in graphic arts which includes drawing in pastel charcoal and crayon, also digital art and photography.

M-am născut în 1984.
Am intrat la Liceul de Arta in 1999 si am absolvit in 2003.
În primii ani de pictura am pictat mai mult peisaje și am fost inspirat de miscarile artistice: romantism, impresionism și post-impresionism.
După ce am absolvit Universitatea de Artă si Design din Cluj Napoca, în 2009 ( patru ani de universitate), am făcut doi ani de Master în pictură(2009-2011),in cadrul aceleasi universitati, unde am început să experimentez cu compoziții abstracte în culori acrilice. Am fost preocupat și de compoziții mixte cu elemente abstracte si figurative.
In perioada 2009-2012, am lucra 3 ani in invatamant preuniversitar ca si profesor de educatie plastica.
Pictez atât abstract cat și figurativ, și am multe opere de artă, în acrilic și ulei. Dupa ce am terminat studiile de specialitate in pictura(10 ani in total), pe langa curentele artistice ce le-am mentionat mai sus am fost inspirat putin si de realism, asta in privinta picturii figurative, iar referitor la pictura abstracta, de expresionism abstract. Desi exista influente asupra stilului in evolutia mea artistica, si imi place sa experimentez diferite tehnici si stiluri, deasemenea imi place sa descopar tehnici si metode noi de abordare artistica, sa fiu spontan si sa ofer o interpretare originala.
În pictura figurativă, sunt interesat de diferite teme și subiecte de la peisaj, peisaj marin, peisaj urban, natura statica, compozitii florale, portrete și compoziții cu personaje, creând astfel cateva picturi istorice. În prezent, în pictură figurativă ma concentrez mai mult asupra peisajului si asupra compozitiilor florale.
Cu trecerea timpului, am experimentat diferite stiluri si abordare, si am facut trecerea de la figurativ la abstract pe perioada de doi ani de Master.
În pictura mea abstracta, se poate vedea diferite forme create spontan: chipuri de oameni, structuri florale, structuri cristaline, structuri micro și macro cosmice. Îmi place, de asemenea, să combin compoziții abstracte cu elemente figurative, creând compoziții care sunt si figurative și abstracte. În astfel de picturi lumea poate fi văzută cum iese din reprezentarea figurativa si se transforma in abstract sau invers, cele două lumi fuzionează și dezvăluie puterea creatoare a artei. O lume care este realizata, posibil cu ajutorul conștientului si subconstientului , și prin spontaneitate, creativitate și imaginație. Lucrările mele au o mare valoare estetică și de originalitate, atat in privinta stilului cat si la reprezentare. Sunt multumit că principala mea sursa de inspiratie este propria mea creativitate și imaginație. Și acest lucru se vede cel mai bine în lucrările mele de artă abstractă sau semi-abstracta, în care libertatea artistica este mai mare, datorită detasarii de reprezentarea figurativa si poate oferi posibilități vaste de prelucrare și interpretare a subiectului. Sunt interesat de diverse subiecte, inclusiv filozofice si cosmice, printre care : originea și evoluția universului, micro și macro cosmosului, timpul, viața și evoluția.
Pictura îmi ofera posibilitatea de a crea. Arta poate avea un efect terapeutic asupra artistului și poate inspira speranta , optimism, mulțumire, satisfacție, armonie si plăcere vizuală , precum si altele. Arta are o valoare estetică și poate fi, de asemenea, terapeutica, pentru privitorul de artă care vizualizeaza si analizeaza pictura prin propria sa interpretare, care poate transmite diferite stari de relaxare, placere, optimism si speranta.

Picturile mele sunt realizate cu pasiune si profesionalism , avand de asemenea originalitate, spontaneitate si o valoare mare estetica. Acestea sunt bogate în diversitate, pornind de la compoziție, la culori, contrast, ritm si tehnica, exprimând un univers în mișcare.

Pe langa pictura, sunt interesat de arta grafica, care include desen in carbune, pastel și creion, de asemenea, arta digitala si fotografie.
